As a newbie Age Grouper last year, attempting my longest race distance, I knew I needed some professional help and guidance in my training. Using the Training Peaks system, Keith was able to give me clear training sessions on a daily basis and get feedback regularly from those sessions.
He was happy to discuss and tweak the programme to match my ‘outside’ life and listened to me when I made alternative suggestions. He also offered invaluable advice and encouragement when my motivation faltered and had absolute faith in my abilities (even when I didn’t!) This year, he’s suggested I target two major races, and I’m hopeful that with his training schedule and advice I will be pleased with my performance in both!
I signed up keith as my coach in january 2012 with the target of getting a time of sub 5 hours on 1/2 IM distance. my previous PB was 5;17 in 2011 and my fitness level wasnt great when we started. Through a fantastic and structured training programme i almost achieve my target in my first race only 4 months later but missed out by 90 sec's by no fault of my coach ;-). I raced a sprint Triathlon a month later and came 3rd in AG. I achieved my goal in my second 1/2 IM distance race and i would like to thank keith for his continued support and coaching and can highly recommend him.

The programme gave me a lot more focus and a clearer understanding as to what I should or should not be doing when it came to training. I received daily text messages and emails that reminded me what was expected of me for the day which I found most useful.
